I'm curious if it's just through data harvesting phone numbers, or if someone is using my name for their cryptocurrency account.

I got an automated call from Coinbase telling me to press [some number] if I wanted to go ahead with a password change, or 1 if I didn't approve it. I don't have a Coinbase account, but nothing good could have come from approving it, so I pressed 1. "Thank you. A Coinbase representative will call you shortly." [or words to that effect]. So I get the call, and I interrupted his spiel twice to tell him that I didn't have an account and that they were being scammed. #Coinbase [-more-]
