I don't know why, but the media is really bad at reading white supremacist dog whistles. They pick up on anti-Black dog whistles (but fail to call people out on it). It sounds like they grasp anti-Latino or anti-Asian dog whistles (although again, they fail to call people out on it). But they seem to completely miss white supremacist stuff. They also don't pay attention to what is going on with white supremacists, and that's bad.
It's good that DeSantis is tanking.
