It has been so long since I've gotten some actual painting done. I am grateful that among all the other wonderful things in my life the past couple days, I got an opportunity to put some painting work in during today's Lord of the Rings Marathon.

This was the first time using my new brush set from #artisopus and I was very impressed with the quality of the single #5 brush that I used today for this whole model. I really feel like I've hit a bit of a plateau (in an exciting way!) And this model feels like a perfect way to cap off the level I've been at for a while, and seek out something new to learn. My brush control has really improved, I'm pleased with the fine lines and color choices...

Next up I think I'm going to invest some time in learning how to do cool effects!
