I pulled my #CrossCountrySkis out of storage a few weeks ago for the first time in _many_ years. Mine are a set of #wood #Kongsberg #Langrenn skis. Unlike modern skis, they require — in addition to pine-tarring & waxing — very cold #snow temperatures & fresh powder. I usually prefer air temps below 10°F to ensure the snow temperature is well below freezing so they don't absorb moisture and stick. Increasingly rare occurences
