Max Wellens is a PhD student supervised by me and others and he's presenting his thesis project on breeding methodology for diversified cropping systems. His model crop will be #wheat.

Peter Bourke, Guusje Bonnema, Chris Malipaard and I are supervising a PhD student, Max Wellens, in this project.

Max will work on breeding for cultivar mixtures (methodology) and do a genomic prediction on mixture performance for more resilient cropping systems. I will share on his progress here occasionally.
