Craft Post (3/3): (pg 162), Time Will Tell by Courtney Peppernell
She describes the feelings of taking that new path. People around you will advise against it & not understand it, & there's sacrifices to be made involving risk. When in reality, we are mirroring their fears back to them. What they think does not mean you are doing the wrong thing. Your path is yours; you dont get to your destination if you listen to everyone else & not yourself.

I feel enthralled while reading each part of the poem. The verse mentioning how the dreams "were forged billions of years ago" makes my nerves tingle.
I resonate that our dreams are ours to understand, to follow, to pursue.
Even when the path can fall silent or lonely, yet the nudge says keep going.
I can relate to this at this point in my life whole heartedly.

1st stanza: the 1st & 3rd verses rhyme, as do the 2nd & 4th
This format repeats within the 3rd 4th 5th & 6th stanzas...not the 2nd stanza, made me stop reading; my first thought is due to the repetition of the word "more", importance of her point & she is carving her own path, as she is stating in the poem. It catches your attention, makes you stop & think about what she is stating.
