The concept of #gentrification is an inherently #counterrevolutionary construct. It presumes that some group of people has a greater claim to some location merely because that group of people occupied that location at some earlier date.

This is antithetical to a leftist understanding of #equality and #equity. Nature belongs by right in common to all the living, and this right applies to all regardless of place/time of birth, or it could not be said to be a "right", in the first place. #urbanism
