DCThat was very satisfying. My one gripe is I think it should have been about ten minutes longer, but really it was excellent and got all the important details of the story in without getting at all rushed. The ending, a slight twist to it, was a good addition. Very good stuff. Count Magnus is one of the best of James’ stories and it’s fantastic to finally get an adaptation (and a good one) of it. That's a good start to seasonal celebrations.
I hardly ever watch TV as it's broadcast these days. There's a couple of things I will. Often that would have included the World Cup, but this year I skipped it, and didn't miss it at all. I'll generally watch Doctor Who live even though it's easy to watch it later, for old times’ sake, really. I'll also watch a new Ghost Story for Christmas, it's a bit of a tradition. So tonight I watched Count Magnus, adapted by Mark Gatiss.
