The network displayed similar characteristics to the network of 900-plus potentially hijacked accounts the DFRLab previously identified, including prior usage, mismatched screen names and handles, and suspicious profile pictures.”

I am completely sympathetic to your concerns.

That said, I haven't seen where there is any organized anti CIB activity here.

That doesn't mean it isn't here just that I've not encountered it.

All in all though, you'd be well served in pushing pause for a second and really incorporating the architecture of the fediverse into your strategic modes of thinking and planning.
