Yell Out is a D.I.Y. festival. Together we stand for feminism, solidarity and respect within and beyond the punk community. We want to embrace the voices and presence of women, trans women, non-binary, genderqueer, and all folks who are not hetero cis males.

All profit from the fest will be split between two organizations: Ele Elna Elak (a volunteer-driven initiative dedicated to supporting Palestinian families in need) and Chez Doris (a Montreal-based organization that offers a safe, non-discriminatory space where women can receive support to regain their dignity and rebuild their lives).

A month ago today, I was in Vienna, so I went to Haus des Meeres.

Der Bauzug

In Winterthur und Umgebung gibt es momentan auf und neben den Schienen irgendwie ständig etwas zu bauen. Praktisch immer sieht man orange eingekleidete Männer – und selten auch mal eine Frau -, die irgendetwas ausbessern, den Kies im Kiesbett oder gar die Schwellen auswechseln. Darüber habe ich ja glaub schon mal geschrieben.

Letzthin jedoch stand beim Winterthurer Hauptbahnhof ein Bauzug, bei dem mir nicht ganz klar werden wollte, was damit getan werden konnte. Jedenfalls war er lang, gelb und fast ein bisschen monströs.

Der Name des Ungetüms war „Boa“. Ich weiss nicht, weshalb und woher es diesen Namen erhalten hatte. Jedenfalls würde der lateinische Name wirklich gut passen:

Einfach Boa constructor statt Boa constrictor …

Another “powerless” sketch. Wanted to draw an obscure Marvel character, and I’ve had a fondness for this villain since I read a sorta “heroic” tale about him in an old Marvel Comics Presents.
