I don't like being touched by anyone, especially strangers, without my consent first. Consent to me, also extends to peoples' pets. I don't touch other people's pets without asking for owners' consent first & I appreciate the same #MutualRespect.
Some folks only understand asking for touch consent for humans. Please extend that consent request to #pets owned by humans too.
The only domesticated animals I've touched without owners' prior consent are strays & homeless animals that I'm trying to rescue/get help for.
