Esperando a que termine una lubina a la sal en el horno. Con el entrenamiento hecho y esta tarde al cine, a ver "Conclave". Unos amigos me han dicho que el prota, Ralph Fiennes, es clavado a mi, que han visto hasta mis gestos en su actuación.
I don't know how accurate the process of picking a Pope is as depicted in the film (I've read a few articles discussing the particulars), but if any of it vaguely resembles reality, that would make me even more disenchanted with organized religion. I'm just done with people claiming to be doing God's work who are simply following their own ambitions and biases as flawed humans.

I saw #Conclave #ConclaveMovie yesterday. I hadn't been interested in it but after all the awards attention so far, I decided to go, and I'm glad I did. It was an incredibly well made film, with terrific performances by #RalphFiennes, #StanleyTucci, #JohnLithgow, #LucianMsamati, #SergioCastellitto, and #CarlosDiehz , among others. It was definitely an ensemble cast, and I expect them to be nominated for that at the #SAGAwards . 1/2
Pao_1Great actors, awesome cinematography and settings, combined with too many shallow clichés, a simplistic plot, and a preposterous ending.
