Anyone else seen 'Conclave' yet? What a great film. Not a subject matter I have any interest in, but really well cast and the sound design and cinematography was great. Highly recommend! #conclavemovie No spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen it!

I don't know how accurate the process of picking a Pope is as depicted in the film (I've read a few articles discussing the particulars), but if any of it vaguely resembles reality, that would make me even more disenchanted with organized religion. I'm just done with people claiming to be doing God's work who are simply following their own ambitions and biases as flawed humans.

I saw #Conclave #ConclaveMovie yesterday. I hadn't been interested in it but after all the awards attention so far, I decided to go, and I'm glad I did. It was an incredibly well made film, with terrific performances by #RalphFiennes, #StanleyTucci, #JohnLithgow, #LucianMsamati, #SergioCastellitto, and #CarlosDiehz , among others. It was definitely an ensemble cast, and I expect them to be nominated for that at the #SAGAwards . 1/2
