It's quiet in the forest in March, until it isn't. I hear a goldcrest there, a coal tit and treecreeper here, and a raven in the distance. I see something delicate on a juniper branch...

The other day I remembered that there are a lot of juniper berries in the local goshawk forest. As it had snowed recently, I thought the snow-covered juniper branches and berries might look good in a photo. They do, a little bit of color in the winter. Then you find a photogenic branch full of berries, think about the composition for a moment and see a gust of wind blow the snow off the branch before you were able to take the photo. Yay :D

Fortunately there were plenty of other opportunities...
