I pretty much have floor-level expectations for all films nowadays, particularly sequels & reboots. But I’m going to need this one to be good, otherwise I’m gonna have to hex some Hollywood execs

Comfort Watch: 10 Things I Hate About You
I grew up in Tacoma, Washington. There is one movie that everyone I graduated with mentions and lists off locations from. 10 Things I Hate About You was released in 1999 and stars Heath Ledger, Julia Stiles, Joseph Gordon Levitt, and Larisa Oleynik. It's a modern adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare. Cameron (Gordon Levitt) wants to date Bianca Stratford (Oleynik) but her father won't let her date until her older sister Kat (Stiles) who is completely anti-social […]https://alexanderkeane.com/2026/01/09/comfort-watch-10-things-i-hate-about-you/
Comfort Watch: The Heat

The lovely thing about having a #CozyMystery obsession is that when you're sick on a rainy Sunday, all you need is a bowl of hot soup, a crusty loaf of homemade bread, a cat on your lap, to stretch your hand out to the nearest shelf and you are SET.
Between the lifetime collection of your favorite mysteries, your Kindle, your DVDs, streaming BritBox, Acorn, and the like... you are in full comfort mode. #MysteryLover #MysteryWriter #SelfCare #ComfortReads #ComfortWatch #sick
Chose to re-watch Sense and Sensibility again tonight. What a gorgeous movie. My heart stopped just a moment during the credits when Alan Rickman's name came on the screen. What a great loss too soon.
I often remind myself that he came to acting late in life and yet created for himself a lasting legacy.
Started watching the recent PBS adaptation of All Creatures Great and Small, and what a delight it is. The production and attention to detail is amazing. I especially enjoy all the knitwear. And the opening credits are charming AF.
There are few things that soothe me more than classic episodes of the original #LawAndOrder
Lennie Briscoe & Ed Green are the ultimate pair
Lt Van Buren is the queen 👑
Jack McCoy is 🐐 who takes on big pharma and gun manufacturers
