So, I'm on holiday and #CodingOnATrain on a side project, which I'm hoping to make as a PWA.

I'd heard that #Javascript was a dependency nightmare, but I was not ready to be told by yarn, on initialising a blank #ReactNative app, that it had downloaded and installed 577 packages.

577 packages? How the hell can anything with that many dependencies call itself stable, secure and maintainable, let alone debuggable?!

Seriously reconsidering how I want to do this.

And now, values are chosen randomly!

I feel like this glitch is mostly finished. I could tweak color selection or fiddle with the transparency, but ... ugh, whatever. Might do more later.

After all, I stumbled on this because I was testing stuff on my way to something else intirely and thought it looked neat.

No more sidetrac-... SQUIRREL!

Ok, I can now apply any other glitch in #glitchbot to image subregions selected based on ranges of local entropy. That's kinda cool.

Ok, NOW no more distractions!!!
