I've been watching #DeathInParadise, a very easily digestible set in the #Caribbean on an island in #Guadalupe. Each episode is usually a murder case, where the main character - in the first couple of seasons, an inspector from London - sticks out like a sore thumb, but somehow manages to crack the case with the help of the local police department. As far as I know, it's a #colab between British, French and Dutch television that started back in 2015.
It's neither super sophisticated, nor high art, but I have to admit I enjoy the Caribbean vibe, the mystery and the characters, even if they aren't exactly complicated. You could say it's my guilty pleasure.
One thing bugs the living shit out of me though. I'm at season 2 now, and all of the monitors in the police station are still unplugged. Sure, there's a signal (VGA) cable permanently attached to the monitor, but no power cable.
Annoying AF.
