Hey, thanks to everyone who recommended epsom salts for my lemon tree! It was yellow and losing leaves and now it’s looking great with new growth and the baby lemons are holding on.
Leon, my only lemon, is starting to ripen!
Also, the tree leaves are looking yellow, so I will apply gypsum, which seems to solve every problem I have had with my potted citrus and avocado.
I counted and I have 24 unripe kumquats on my little 50cm tree.
Were they there when I bought it?
Yes.
Will I claim full credit for them?
Also yes.
I didn’t realize my Assads Citron was quite this thorny! Look at this deadly thing. I think the yellow tip makes it extra menacing.
Eagerly waiting for the last bit of green to disappear on my ripening kumquat…

Finger Lime is now completely back to normal and is no longer dropping leaves. I fertilized, misted and sheltered it behind the avocado and that seems to have removed its source of stress.
