With so many extraordinary women engaged in the battle against climate change, the biggest task in compiling Reuters Impact's list of trailblazing women for International Women's Day was whittling down our long list to only 25. We reluctantly decided not to include the likes of Christiana Figueres, Greta Thunberg, and U.N. Environment Programme chief Inger Andersen, who already have a high global profile for their work, in order to shine the light on women whose contributions may have flown under the radar.
All #Scientists should be panicking about the future. The #ClimateApocalypse is here and my Granddaughters’ future looks more grim each day. Where are the #ClimateLeaders?

The Physical, Chemical and Electrical aspects of #PlanetEarth are all changing due to the #ClimateEmergency. Future Earth will not be like present day at all. #ClimateAction #RightNow could have changed this fate. Where were the #ClimateLeaders?

#CEO's and #Boards still fail to understand #CompetitiveAdvantage. #climatedisclosurerules will become a sustainable source of it for many, if not already.
Be #ClimateLeaders and clean up your act, while increasing Market Share and Profitability. If not, you will go the way of the Dinosaur.
You can harass, threaten, arrest and prosecute these Young #ClimateLeaders, but it will not deter them. The System needs to get on the right side of history and support their #ClimateAction.
