Water is amazing. But, 771 million people worldwide still lack access to a source of clean water. I’m hoping to change this, by helping projects that drill wells, build spring protections and create BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world. .............. To raise funds for charity:water for my birthday campaign, I will be hosting an online trivia game I’m creating using the popular game app Kahoot! on Sunday April 30, at 7pm EST. As a competitive Quizbowl player, I’m getting pretty good at trivia, and I’m tapping into that to create a game night full of fun and learning (and a prize if you win). .............. All you have to do is donate to my campaign and then forward the donation receipt that charity:water emails you (check your "Promotions" folder for the email) or a screenshot of the confirmation screen to [email protected]. Donate whatever amount you can ($40 gives one person clean water for life), but I’d ask you donate at least $15 for my 15th birthday. Upon receiving your email I’ll reply with all the necessary instructions. Please donate to my campaign and join me on April 30th. 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects!
