What is it with players of strategy games and their love for #ClassicalRome ?

Like two thirds of screenshots I see from #CK3 is "Look at me, I recreated the Roman Empire!".

Rome was amazing at stealing other people's inventions and utilize them, and... that's about that.

Das Forum Romanum war für mich ein magischer Ort, an dem Geschichte lebendig wird. Zwischen den Ruinen spürte ich die Präsenz vergangener Zeiten – hier wurde einst über das Schicksal Roms entschieden. Der Anblick der Säulen und Tempel erinnerte mich an die Vergänglichkeit und die Macht der Geschichte.

The Roman Forum was a magical place for me, where history comes alive. Among the ruins, I could feel the presence of past times – this was where the fate of Rome was once decided. The sight of the columns and temples reminded me of the transience of life and the power of history.
