#Basel🇨🇭to #Copenhagen 🇩🇰 by train, over night. This was possible when I took this photo of #CityNightLine #CNL train “Aurora” in August 2006, and it might become an option again in 2026 with #SBB introducing a Basel to Copenhagen and Malmö #EuroNight service.

#CityNightLine used to operate #SleeperAndEater services across Europe for a couple of years. Pictured here is #CNL #Komet at #Hamburg 🇩🇪 Altona, bound for #Zurich🇨🇭. The train included a @diningcar, positioned between the double-decker sleepers and the couchette cars. Photos taken in August 2013.
