Today we raise awareness for childrenโ€™s bone and joint health. Musculoskeletal conditions โ€” from fractures and growth-plate injuries to juvenile idiopathic arthritis and infections โ€” affect millions of kids worldwide and can last into adulthood if missed or untreated. Early recognition, timely care, good nutrition and regular activity make a lasting difference.

- Growth plates are vulnerable until bone fully matures โ€” sprains or ligament injuries near joints (knee, ankle) can damage long-term growth.
- Childhood obesity raises the risk of some musculoskeletal problems and arthritis.
