Dismal Wizard is up and about. No fever this morning. Bladder is still somewhat squirrelly Friday morning. But it should settle down enough to allow running errands. DW needs to visit DMV, pharmacist, and mower shop. Next BCG on Tuesday. #check_in

Back garden was brilliant for morning snapshots. The magic bus was by to collect the hoodie-wraiths, those that shuffled to the bus stop. I’ll check the garden for ditches later. Thursday was a recovery day. DW says I’ve got to be back on the job. #greyhounds

The sharp-eyed among you may spot our new condensing unit in the back garden. It’s just past the lounge big window. Temperatures are staying between our heating setting and our cooling setting so little run time Thursday. Some to keep humidity in bounds.

Thermostat is EcoBee premium which supports dehumidification with the air handler. We also have a humidifier, currently idle.

I’m not so sure about this. Wind is Down to normal but still gray and misty.

Minion is making noises about a day at “camp” while HVAC technicians are fitting a new heat pump. Local camp has lots of fenced turn out pens and other cool stuff.

I’ve been pretty lazy. In storm mode. One dash and splash Tuesday. Sleeping in Wednesday.

DW bladder has settled some after BCG treatment. Close to “normal”. He’s planning to take me to camp then trip to DMV for new license.

Dismal Wizard and wrangler showered at 0630. Out by 0700 with scattered cumulus clouds, some already lofting. It’s a big humid with hazy sunshine as publicists types for me. #greyhounds Somehow, the picture of me taking a dump was not used.

Anyway, I’m still comfortable and active. Minion is mostly recovered from his bladder and kidney biopsy procedure. This coming week he gets CAT scanned, and blood drawn for genetic sequencing and checks for hereditary cancer risk factors. #check_in

Yesterday, Redfin nervously watched evening drive-by thunderstorms ignore us.

Thursday dawns somewhat sunny with a stratus layer to the east and clear skies inland. This is a normal coastal summer thing. The FUGLY is back in the air as it is HHH, hazy, hot, and humid. Add sunshine and some shear and you have the makings of afternoon thunderstorms.

Rocky dropped a nice Duce for hook worm checks. DW planning to wander about IKEA after dropping off specimen.

Boffins have been struggling with the forecast as rain overnight caused flooding in The Piedmont. That rain appears to be winding down. Mr Sun is expected to make a morning appearance spawning pop-up thunderstorms. As usual, pop-ups are expected to pop up and stay put causing isolated flash flooding.

Rocky held reveille at 0530q to make a loo run and brief prowl. Garden is secure. No teenager hoodie shuffle-wraiths detected. No hares either.
