　沖縄県北谷町立博物館が２０日、伊平に開館した。隣接する国指定史跡「伊礼原（いれいばる）遺跡」と一体となった博物館で、約７千年前の縄文時代の人々の生活が分かる展示が中心となっている。１９日に記念式典が開かれ、町内関係者らが出席した。
