@arturo182 Also props for the #KeebDeck...

https://www.solder.party/keeb/

I hope it gets restocked soon (or at least preorder-able)...

- Because the supply of vintage USB Keyboards like the #DreamGear #MiniKey has dried up and so far noone has made drivers to simply use the #ChatPad of an #Xbox360 controller as USB-Keyboard...

KeebDeck

The KeebDeck Keyboard is a compact (85x48mm) 69-key alphanumeric silicone keypad with an orthogonal layout based on standard PC keyboards. It has all the keys a hacker would expect and a few extra ones that can be used as macros. The keypad sits on a snap dome sheet, giving it a tactile feel that's comfortable even for extended thumb-typing sessions. The keypad can also optionally be backlit, perfect for dimly lit rooms.

Solder Party

I bought myself an #Xbox controller in The Sales this week - I could've saved some pennies buying a used one, but when they drop to a few bucks more than a "good condition" second-hand one, there's not much reason not to go for the one with warranty.

This isn't for the collection; it's destined to be functional house infrastructure. With the #Chatpad and USB adapter that I've had squirreled away for a while, this thread will document my struggle turning it into a media PC remote. 🧵

#Hardware #tinkering.

I'm looming for a thiny #Thumb #Keyboard (kinda lie a 60% or 40% board that is tiny) that connects via #USB (wired!) to any host device.

Kinda like the #Dreamgear #MiniKey or the #Xbox360 #ChatPad but it needs to be either FLOSH or at least be still made to this day AND work natively as Keyboard.

It can't be wireless!!!
