It's hard not to sympathise with #Charlie3.
I mean what family hasn't been through the endless faff and disruption of a household renovation project only to find that it has eaten up the sharp end of four hundred mil of other people's money, and then realise that y'all preferred one of your other gaffs?
After the pompous carp of a "formal process" to strip the #titles of ex-#PrinceAndrew (see my toot at https://mastodon.ie/@2legged/115474788529775596), the #UK's #KingCharlesIII needed only to sign 4 one-paragraph letters and publish them in his 3 blogs. #Sorted

The first big gig in #Charlie3's life was his July 1969 "Investiture" as #PrinceOfWales. That obnoxious farce was a novel fabrication of recycled royal pantomime, woven into television-friendly ritual by Lord Snowdon, part a strategic media blitz which included a big documentary/reality TV show "Royal Family" designed to humanise the #RoyalFamily.
