Impressions of our visit to Wat Rong Khun (better know as the White Temple) near Chang Rai, Thailand.

It is a very new Buddhist temple (opened only in 1997) and created by artist Chalermchai Kositpipat. Read the Wiki page for some very unique features.

We had mixed feelings. The temple itself is beautiful, but did not feel like a temple. Sometimes more a Disney World vibe came over us.

By the way, the golden building is the toilet building.
