Quest update: 6 and 7 out of 12 done.

I see I haven’t written anything since the end of February. There are reasons for that, which I’ll probably talk about in a later blog post, but for now, I’ll talk about passing certifications 6 and 7.

For my next trick, I’ll be pursuing the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification. I feel that’s the logical next choice since I’m actually aiming to earn the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.

2 out of 12 - AWS Certifications - Waiting in suspence

Yesterday, I took the certification exam for AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional. As I pressed “End exam,” I was greeted with a message stating that it would take between 24 hours and 5 business days to receive the results. I had completely forgotten about this, as I’m so used to getting the results immediately after the exam. It was a big surprise for me, so I had to wait in suspense for the results.

Randriksen - Certifiable?

At the ~30 year mark of a career in development, software architecture and security architecture I am certified in virtually none of it. Almost proud of that, in a way.

Anyone else in the same boat?
