Discovered this lovely show/mini-series on #Apple+. El Deafo is adapted from a graphic novel by Cece Bell of the same name. It is a loosely biographic story depicting her childhood, when she lost her hearing at a young age and required the assistance of a hearing aid. I loved the sound design and it opened my eyes as to how to world can look and sound in ways I had not thought of before. Love Apple+ content!
