But I ask again - what would prohibit some Canadian pharmacy corp from buying enough to meet the demand, regardless of what percentage of that demand is domestic?
I know, I know, #CapitalismBad & all that. I get it. But that said, are there not for-profit companies in Canada which would be 100% OK with a sharp rise in volume & revenue?

The wording here is important, it feels like such corporate speak, if they had listened to their employees & community from the start this would never have happened. They have already done a lot of damage to their reputation, we will see what they say in a few days and see how things play out from there.

I really hope UNITY walk this back but think they have lost the trust of a lot of devs myself included. This is nothing more than corporate greed.
