To be perfectly clear, I think candidacy exams are a waste of time and energy. I would much rather be giving this time and energy to research.
Me, awake at 4:30 am: Why am I awake at 4:30 am???
Also me: In the midst of trying to take out my first car loan and buy a car for myself for the first time after the car my mom graciously bought me got totaled in a wreck, my body is continuously finding new ways to be sick and I've been off and on tons of new medications recently (#disabledlifre) have #CandidacyExams coming up; generally #anxious about a million and one things.
