1 Jan 2023 started about 9.30am with an hour walk to the beach through the quiet canals which remind me of country lanes.

Although the beach was packed the mood was up as the temp rose to about 36C.

Later tonight 8.45pm (daylight saving) a couple were walking their *5 pet Caique parrots from the Amazon!

Here you can see how Mr. T. trims the claws of our two #caiques. The different behavior of both is remarkable: Puck is completely relaxed, Pixie is the total drama queen.
