US #Treasury says it suspends imposition of #CaesarAct #sanctions on #Syria

Washington suspended the imposition of Caesar Act sanctions on Syria in part for 180 days, the Treasury Dept said.

The move replaces a previous waiver enacted on May 23, it said.

The suspension halts sanctions except for certain transactions involving #Russia & #Iran, according to the Treasury.
