Hmm. So I got around to trying to set up #UnoCSS and it is not what I need. It looks great, don't get me wrong, but it seems to only be geared towards the #AtomicCSS methodology. I use the #CubeCSS methodology instead, so I need the generated utility classes inserted in the middle of some pre-authored CSS that I wrote myself. I'll keep looking

Without making any changes to the design, I managed to reduce the amount of CSS on my personal site by around 33%.

My favorite way to code static websites.

I just published a starter template site for Hugo.

https://github.com/jameskerr/hugo-starter

It is all setup with CUBE CSS, Utopia Scales, and Hotwired Turbo.

I'll be cloning this for every new site I build. "We're just coloring in front-ends at this point" - @belldotbz

CUBE CSS Baby!

@belldotbz I added another folder for animations, CUBE-A (pronounced "Eh" like the Canadians)

I just swallowed my pride and installed tailwindcss. It's almost entirely disabled though. I just use it to generate the boring utility classes needed for #CubeCSS

Removed Tailwind from my personal page, heavily inspired by the work of @andy

I'd be very curious to hear how other non-build-step css-developers organize their css, if they're out there somewhere!
