One of few reasons I reboot my machine is because Spotlight after a while "forgets" my apps, and I always use that for launching apps.

Also the only reason I have Raycast is to continue delaying this restart.

Anyone know why it is that Spotlight does this?

Don't know how it took me so long, but my god how great is Tailscale.
Openclaw didn't last, but Tailscale did.

We mourn our craft

I didn’t ask for this and neither did you. I didn’t ask for a robot to consume every blog post and piece of code I ever wrote and parrot it back so that some hack could make money off o…

Read the Tea Leaves

Catching up on my RSS feeds sometimes stresses me out. I'm a stickler for inbox zero, and simultaneously don't like to "mark as read" what hasn't been read 🤷‍♂️

Right now I haven't felt like reading dev stuff lately (which are most of my feeds), and I'm sitting at almost 1k unreads.

Does anyone know of any active chat apps that support WhatsApp interoperability?
I’m mainly looking to get rid of the Channels and Status sections on my daughter’s phone.

Switching away from WhatsApp isn’t realistic since that’s where her friends are.

Looked at birdy.chat and haiket.com but both in waitinglist stage.

Built a simple color palette tool inspired by Flexoki and @kepano

I kept reaching for the Flexoki playground but wanted something simpler.

Coloki – A simple color palette generator

Generate beautiful, perceptually-balanced color palettes from a single base color. Inspired by Flexoki.

Interesting reads on CMS vs “no CMS”:

Cursor moving away from @sanity_io → leerob.com/agents
Sanity’s response → sanity.io/blog/you-should-never-build-a-cms

IMO CMSs like @getkirby and @statamic are underrated here: content and code in the same codebase, fully grep-able.
