Three months later...

Well, save for measles, not much happened in March. Unfortunately, it seems like things have conveniently moved to the season following, thanks to NB 1.8.1.

WHO adds NB.1.8.1 as SARS-CoV-2 variant under monitoring

Experts say illnesses don't seem more severe and more studies are needed to further assess the risk of antibody escape.

Miscellaneous notes - Discuss Online

If you’ve got here from the Mastodon/microblogoverse, you must be really interested in respirators and fit testing. Or… you’re on Lemmy. In any case, this part of the Discuss.Online Wiki [https://wiki.discuss.online/view/CPCSupport:Miscellaneous_Notes] on !CPCSupport will serve to keep those thoughts and readings (from third-party sites social media sites, for better or worse) organized as the months pass.

Thanks for commenting. I have two questions though:

  • Does the mineral content in the water matter?
  • Do you know why the N95-Companion has trouble doing a fit test with the particle generator at table height?

I've never been able to get to 70 p/cc with a candle. With that being said, I've also never been able to get to 70 p/cc with the 8026 at or above the height of the N95-Companion/PortaCount. I've yet to place a candle on the floor, for obvious reasons.

Cleaning a Low-Counting PortaCount 8020 - CPC/PortaCount Help - Fedia

Does your PortaCount take ages to get above 1000 particles/cc? Is it constantly giving out "Low Particle" warnings?...
