La quinta edición del minifestival #BlockPartyArganzuela, celebrada ayer sábado, 6 de junio de 2026, ha sido extraña.

Primero, por la visita del papa León XIV, la ubicación hubo de trasladarse de la Pradera Negra (asfaltada) Multiusos de Madrid Río a la Sala Mon del barrio de Chamberí, lo que hizo que algunas personas decidieran no asistir.

Después, con la situación teóricamente controlada, la banda estadounidense #DieSpitz comunicó que le era imposible actuar (aparentemente un problema con el avión), por lo que la infatigable organización recurrió a la banda de Chicago #CaseOats, que andaba de gira por aquí, para llenar el hueco.

Case Oats hacen una música suave, de raíces #folk y #country, que no cuadraba demasiado con el tono del festival. O a lo mejor sí, como l'Exotighost en la edición del año pasado.
