I voted for a Republican. (The primary election for my House seat is Tuesday.) it sucks to vote for someone who doesn’t share my values. But voting is for adults, and adults have to face facts. In this city, the fact is that a Republican is going to represent us in Washington.
Strategically, voting for Williams’ GOP opponent in the primary and the Democrat in the general is a small (but necessary) step to ensuring that the seat doesn’t go to an election denier.
