A fantastic video about how my sister and BIL moved their company to a worker coop. They live in rural Colorado, and are a reason no one should ever think rural USians are a lost cause.

I think it is fantastic that there are organizations to help companies move to the coop model. I know it was rough changing the mindset of some of the employees, some of whom were so used to the boss-->worker relationship it was a serious obstacle to the changeover

I wanted to share some worker cooperative content I've been writing over the past months. Basically a reflection of how being in a democratic organization has helped me reflect on past work experiences.

But now, having successfully built a sophisticated wine business, they are moving on to their life's next chapter. On Aug. 1, they finalized the sale of the company to five of their employees - who call their company "The Fermented Five" - and who will carry the business into the future as an employee cooperative.
