Today's #WristCheck is the #Certina DS First. The first watch I bought, back in 2008. 41 mm stainless steel and sapphire glass. This is the heaviest watch I have — at 162g. Haven't worn this in a long time, and it feels heavy on my wrist. Also; I had almost forgot how gorgeous it is with its silver watch face.

This morning I left the house in a short sleeve polo shirt but forgot to put on a watch! How embarrassing! I felt completely unprepared and frankly naked.

Happily, I remembered that I stowed this watch in my safe at work! So here I am wearing a vintage Certina DS-2 “Turtle” on a sharkskin strap. Much better!
