Issued to Ukraine's military intelligence officers. The motto on the dial translates to "The Wise Man Dominates the Stars." This is my first watch with tritium tubes, on the indices and watch hands. Stays legible all night long. The watchmaker claims it will last 10 years. We'll see.

Almost two years after retiring from the Air Force Reserve, I finally cleaned out my officer's footlocker and found my blacked-out #Luminox Leatherback Sea Turtle #watch. I put a new battery in it and attached a new NATO strap. It works perfectly, but since it's over 15 years old, the tritium tubes have lost their glow. It's a great beater watch anyway, with lots of memories attached! It's also almost impossible to photograph! #wristshot #watchesofpixelfed #watches

**Bulova Accutron TV (circa 1973)**
This watch came across my radar from a seller from whom I'd previously acquired a 1966 Accutron Astronaut. This watch looks weird & wonderful at the same time, and is in great condition. Resistance was futile. I didn't like the simple black strap it came with, however. So I ordered two new straps. One is a brown crocodile strap (to compliment the case), the other is a green alligator-textured strap (to extend the green in the dial). I thought I'd prefer the brown, but I'm leaning slightly toward the green. What do you think?
