Yes, things are too expensive. But it's not due to inflation, because the rate of inflation is pretty low. It's due to corporate greed. And by 'corporate', I mean the corporate CEOs and investors.

My hubs & I are self-employed for 30 years now. We can't afford regular health ins, but we did try to apply for long-term care down the road. One of the questions on the pre-app was "Do you use medical marijuana?" and my honest answer was "yes I do, I have my card."

This was their reply. A form letter denying me the chance to even apply & basically telling me to go fuck myself.

They even got they type of ins I wanted to apply for wrong.
