noon Mar 5, near Juneau, above freezing so snow on deck rails has fallen as has much of the snow on the trees. Workout Report: third day in a row of shovelling path and parking pad. 9:00 pm in forest (not avalanche hazard area) #CBJuneau 40 F, and the brackets holding up the gutters are straining and popping as the snow starts to shift. We’re okay with not driving through puddles. #MyAlaskaWx

we have icicles (very unusual) and snow creeping off the roof onto the gutters Driveway entrance blocked by a shallow but lumpy and icy mess. With luck, precipitation forecast (starting late tonight) and flood watch (starting late Friday night) means the snow will melt away (and the roof will shed the snow).

Forecast is for more snow (some possibility of rain). 2 big mall stores are closed while rofs are cleared (Fred Meyer and the Nugget Mall). Berm across our driveway was cleared on Saturday, so the car was used to get to the grocery store This afternoon, we will move more wood from shed to porch and clear more snow off shed. #MyAlaskaWx #CBJuneau
