@ukapala and myself bade misia the #BurglarCat farewell today; it seems that the stresses of her previous life in the streets finally got to her.

we spent three and a half beautiful years together, learned to safeguard all cupboards with food at home – starting from the unsecurable breadbox – and have seen in practice that broccoli moves through a cat completely unchanged.

she was a diminutive force of chaos and we got along splendidly.

it's almost certain she's now planning a big heist in the sky, safe, swift, comfortable and with her usual impeccable timing.

we miss her already.

we've been visiting vet with the #BurglarCat recently, got her hernia corrected (it was a result of letting her back to her place too early; way before the time we took her in), and at the same time we confirmed that her liver is… not well. a biopsy was done, we're waiting for results.

we'll be monitoring her bloodwork more frequently, and she goes on liver-sparing diet – and if any specific treatment can be given (depending on biopsy results), she'll get it.

she's feeling reasonably well, if a bit annoyed by the fashionable garment she's wearing until the post-op wound heals enough.
