Forward progress has been stopped per Incident Command. The air tankers & Air Attack have been released. Hwy 246 is open in both directions w/ westbound having only one lane open per the Santa Barbara County FD PIO on X.

The fires have been mapped at 64.1 acres by FIRIS OES Intel 24. The perimeter is now viewable on the Watch Duty map.

Fire perimeter maps indicate the general burn area but do not detail the measures being taken to protect buildings and homes. Even if a building or home is within the marked fire perimeter, it doesn't necessarily mean it has been damaged or destroyed. These maps are preliminary and may be updated.

Per WatchDuty: Power outage By PG&E. Expected restoration 11:15 pm EDT. Effecting Drum Canyon to RedRock Moutain to just outside Los Alamos.

I didn't get much writing done during my self-created retreat. I developed sciatica on the right side during the drive to #Buellton. The hotel chair was not right for me no matter how I tried to arrange pillows, so sitting was excruciating.

Still, I did feed ostriches and emus ... but there is no photographic evidence of my activities at #OstrichLand because I was alone. So, here's someone else doing it.
