* Tornado Warning for... Northwestern Santa Barbara County in southwestern California...
* Until 115 AM PST.
* At 1241 AM PST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Los Alamos, or 9 miles east of Lompoc, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* This dangerous storm will be near... Los Alamos around 1245 AM PST. Santa Ynez and Solvang around 1255 AM PST.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Figueroa Mountain, Buellton, and Lake Cachuma.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following counties, southwestern San Luis Obispo and northwestern Santa Barbara Counties.
* WHEN...Until 245 AM PST..
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1135 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to showers and isolated thunderstorms. Rainfall rates with the band of showers have peaked between 0.33 and 0.66 inch per hour. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
