Spider LilyI've just spent a few weeks turning creating 33 patterns of which I turned 31 I to embroidery files. I'm now printing those files on old bedding I got in the charity shop so I can make a book of samples. I'm noting how long it takes to print each design ready for when I choose the 9 designs I'm going to use so I can calculate how long this embroidered quilt is going to take to make.

Tonight I used my Brother embroidery machine to do a patch for a colleague. The initials belong to our school and he chose a linden branch to place us geographically. If he approves, I'll turn this into a patch, which can be ironed on and sewn down 🧵🪡
