We sought basic information about the status of the #BroadcastingBill, private meetings held by MIB, & their plans to open the revised Bill for public consultation, among others.

For several stakeholders affected by the #BroadcastingBill, past month was spent analysing media reports about statements made by unnamed govt officials.
Such a secretive & allusive approach of MIB has not put any of our concerns to rest. 4/6
Although reports suggest that the govt. considers #BroadcastingBill “less urgent to pursue” at this stage, our efforts won’t rest till MIB officially communicates its decision regarding the Bill,
