Summary of stakeholder comments received by MIB on the Broadcasting Bill, 2023

We share copies and a summary of the comments submitted by stakeholders during the public consultation on the draft Broadcasting Bill, 2023, based on the RTI response we received from MIB.

Internet Freedom Foundation

MIB held a public consultation on the Broadcasting Bill, 2023 from November 2023 till January 2024 & in February 2024 we filed an RTI seeking copies of the comments received (with personal info redacted) as part of the public consultation.

After some friction & resistance, we received a limited set of responses.
