Weirdest work call of the decade. An Uber driver has called asking me to help them as their vehicle was trapped inside #Brewtown

Together, the distraught driver and I determined that they were actually stuck inside Tuatara Brewery’s yard and not @kererubrewing

Police apparently refused to assist. Fire and Emergency have the ability to open business premises in an emergency and they said this was not worth driving up the road with lights on for.

End result is the trapped driver is out and relieved and I spent 10 minutes talking to non-emergency police to tell them to stand down and then explain in patient detail what a weird evening I’ve had.

Just a typical #Suburban #NewZealand Friday night.
